Regardless of the data, all of our Abrasive Blasting Cabinets, Machines, and Equipment manufacturers have one thing in common: they are universally applicable in both the working and blasting materials applications.A blast cabinet is a closed loop system that allows the operator to blast the part while recycling the abrasive. The cabinet, the abrasive blasting system, the abrasive recycling system, and the dust collection are the four main components. The operator blasts the parts from the outside of the cabinet by putting his arms in gloves that are attached to glove holes on the cabinet, viewing the part through a view window, and controlling the blast with a foot pedal or treadle.Automated blast cabinets, which may include multiple blast nozzles and a part conveyance system, are also used to process large quantities of the same component.A blast cabinet typically employs three systems. Two are dry, suction and pressure, and one is wet:

Cabinet for suction/vacuum blasting

A suction blast system creates a vacuum in a chamber by using compressed air (known as the blast gun). Negative pressure draws abrasive into the blast gun, where compressed air directs it through a blast nozzle. The abrasive mixture is directed toward the surface or workpiece by passing through a nozzle.

Nozzles are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and materials.

       Sandblasting with tungsten carbide

The most common liner material for mineral abrasives is nozzle.

       Sandblasting with silicon carbide

       Sandblasting with boron carbide nozzle

Nozzles are more resistant to wear and are frequently used with harder abrasives such as aluminium oxide and silicon oxide.

Cabinet for pressure blasting

The abrasive is stored in a pressure vessel and then sealed in a pressure blast system. The vessel is pressurised to the same pressure as the blast hose attached to the pressure vessels bottom. The abrasive is metered into the blast hose and conveyed through the blast nozzle by compressed gas.

Cabinets for Wet Blasting

A system injects the abrasive/liquid slurry into a compressed gas stream in wet blast cabinets. When the heat produced by friction in dry blasting would damage the part, wet blasting is typically used.

Cabinet Type Automatic Abrasive Blasting Machine

Rotary Indexing Blasting Machines: As a suction blaster, the machine works on the suction blasting principle. The blast cabinet has a bearing-mounted indexing turntable with a number of indexing positions. For job loading and unloading, one indexing satellite stands outside the blast cabinet, while other satellites stand inside the blast cabinet. The indexing turntable is powered by a geared drive (one is currently blasting and others are in line). It has an indexing movement, which means that after 90 degrees or a specified rotation, the turntable stops in such a way that the satellite with the work piece enters the blasting area. After the required finish is achieved, the indexing table rotates by a predetermined amount so that the next satellite with a new job for blasting enters the blasting area and the blasted job enters the loading and unloading area.
